My Roles and Responsibilities

Raman is the IT operations leader who ensures the required standards for architecture, localization, accessibility, ISO 27001 and IT ecosystem compliance are in place. He aligns technology initiatives with the overall business goals of the company to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the smooth functioning of systems and services across multiple regions.

Raman works closely with Doug the content architect, Jim the production manager and system administrators of the content lifecycle management system to provide technical support and maintain efficient and reliable content operations worldwide.

Closely managing a content system that adheres to company policy, external certification and IT ecosystem security requirements
Providing the enterprise with a scalable and flexible solution that can expand with content volume and velocity demands
Addressing the demands of Naomi, Doug and Jim for providing the necessary IT performance for translation, workflow automation and global operations
Saving on-premise infrastructure and maintenance costs by adopting a cloud-based content lifecycle management system for asset and knowledge management

Consequences Of Doing Nothing

Raman and his team would be held accountable by all stakeholders for not providing the required support to help Naomi deliver the content strategy in line with board-level objectives. Rejecting the proposal of having a trusted, centralized CCMS that’s globally scalable means IT security and compliance in content operations would be significantly at risk, leaving the enterprise with vulnerabilities in access control, data integrity and data governance.

Raman would also find it hard to optimize resource utilization, leading to inefficiencies, delays and increased costs, and the lack of a single point of data analysis makes it hard for Naomi to measure and refine her content strategies.
